Original Poetry for Ombellule Restaurant Gastronomique

When gastronomy meets poetry. At the end of a meal at the gastronomic restaurant Ombellule, a gift awaits diners: a poem I wrote to illustrate the frescoes of artist Galatée Martin, whose six original paintings dress the dining room. I conceived these initial gifts as part of my global project management for the creative identity and editorial strategy mission for the Maison Mey. The ensemble is presented to each guest at the end of the dinner service in a glassine envelope accompanied by the day’s menu.

A few simple verses in haiku form to reflect the calm of nature, the clarity of a moment shared. Because, like a meal, poetry leaves an aftertaste—something to savor, something that lingers. The words accompany the landscape of flavors crafted by Ombellule’s kitchen, weaving storytelling through poetry into the dining experience.
