Translation: My Life on Films for Sebastien Zanella
Like many visual artists, the passages in and out of lockdown in 2020 was a challenging period for Sebastien Zanella. A habitual patron of the sea, beach and the grand air around his native Seignosse on France’s west coast, he was confronted with unfamiliar constraints to his movement. To document it, he took up his film camera and compiled a collection of documentary photographs to frame his experience. We worked together to translate the book’s poetry into English. The book is currently sold out, but may see a reedtion in the coming months.
